Amazing Grace depicts the true story of William Wilberforce, a courageous young man who serves in the British Parliament during the late 18th century.  After learning of the injustices of the slave trade from a former slave, Equiano, Wilberforce becomes determined to lead the parliamentary campaign against the slave trade in the British Empire.
