The Movie and Book

Charlotte's Web, based on the classic children's book by E.B. White, tells the story of a special friendship between a lonely but joyous pig named Wilbur and a caring spider named Charlotte.  The runt of his litter, Wilbur is adopted by 8-year-old Fern.  Unfortunately, as Wilbur grows, he learns that he is most likely headed for the smokehouse. Determined to save her new friend and barn mate, Charlotte develops a brilliant plan. Charlotte's loving acts of kindness towards Wilbur are eventually returned, demonstrating the power of friendship and everyday miracles. Full synopsis here.
