The Movie

Nancy Drew is based on the beloved Nancy Drew detective book series which first debuted 1930. In this latest adventure on screen, Nancy Drew is a sixteen year-old girl in the small town of River Heights, helping the local police solve crimes. When her father accepts a temporary job in Los Angles, Nancy must abandon her life of sleuthing and adjust to her new surroundings in the big city.  There, she comes across evidence about the long-unsolved death of a beautiful movie star.  As she begins to discover clues relating to the crime, Nancy struggles to maintain her sense of responsibility against the pressures of a new lifestyle and the expectations of her father.
